My review:
Shadows of the night haunts again the beautiful blue-eyed black leather vampire warrior Selene (Kate Beckinsale) in a harmonious spectacle “Underworld: Awakening.” Kate stated after the second part (“Underworld: Evolution”, 2006.) that she had enough of role “lethal” Selene, but in the meantime she clearly realized that this role is in her blood.
“Underworld: Awakening” starts with the famous scene were the previous film finished, the history of the conflict of vampires and werewolves: Selene is squatting on top of a Gothic building clad in fetish “matrix” uniform dark color, and tells the story . Vampires and “likana” have fought long before her birth, away from human sight. Sometimes they fought with fire and steel, as in sequel “Rise Of The Lycans”.

Today, vampires are destroying Likans with modern weapons. Endless conflict hidden from the eyes of people still somehow ended up in “the public”. Once the existence of vampires and werewolves now has a “basis in fact,” people as people, destructive and fascistic-minded, declare a state of emergency, start cleaning Earth from “infected”, mostly the werewolves with UV light and ammunition, silver …
